Ready to get a job, but don’t know where to start? We can help!

If you are out-of-school, between the ages of 16-24, and motivated to start a training program or begin a career, we can provide you with the skills you need!

We provide:

  • Career Exploration
  • Employability Skills Training, Including Financial Literacy
  • Career Coaching and Guidance
  • Tuition Assistance
  • Limited Supportive Services
  • Paid Work Experience and On-the-Job Training Referrals
  • Access to LinkedIn Learning Courses

Youth ages 16-24 have access to work readiness workshops, paid work experience, community resources, post-secondary education enrollment, vocational training, supported services, and incentives for program completion.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard & Port Hueneme

The Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) provides the training and skills to be successful–it is a job-readiness accelerated program that requires participants to complete at least one of five career paths and attend workshops in job readiness.
