The Workforce Development Board of Ventura County Public Service Fellowship Career Program for youth 18-28 is open.
The program is designed to equip young adults with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen careers. The program features paid work experience at various County of Ventura sites, including the Health Care Agency, Ventura County Libraries, Department of Child Support Services and more.
In addition to hands-on experience, participants will receive comprehensive case management and wrap-around services, including support with resume building, job search strategies, and job applications.
Participants will also be offered to be trained as a Six Sigma Yellow Belt, a valuable project management certification that is valued by the County.
